The Green Man Public House in Grantchester Cambridge is a character filled venue in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in Britain. We pride ourselves in producing high quality fresh seasonal British food served to our upmarket cliental. The site is a forty cover restaurant and a 35 cover bar which is consistently filled each day and with the added bonus of a picturesque garden that leads to the historic Grantchester Meadows with seating for over two hundred guests this is a busy food led venue that in the past year has seen a growth of over a hundred percent. We are looking to recruit the flowing positions to add to our fantastic current team. The Pastry Chef We are looking to recruit a pastry chef with a real desire for perfection and a strong imagination to produce beautiful plates with fantastic flavour combinations. We have a strong dessert trade that allows our current chef to experiment with our specials and offer something very special to our guests. The duties of the role include baking fresh bread each day making pastry for our homemade pies and as stated to produce out of this world desserts that are the perfect way to end a visit to us. The shift pattern for the role would be two preparation shifts and three service shifts to include both days and weekends relevant previous experience in a similar role is essential. The remuneration for the position is £17000 per annum with increases only capped by your ability live in accommodation is available for the position.
